RE/MAX North-San Antonio was well represented at our RE/MAX of Texas awards luncheon yesterday held at the Oakhills Country Club. The guest speaker was Zan Monroe, a well known speaker, teacher, author, businessman and consultant. He spoke about the importance of customer service, changing times in the real estate industry and the overall state of real estate today. He shared with us the current mortgage statisitcs nation-wide:
50% of all houses are Prime loans
9% of all homes are Sub-Prime loans
6% of all homes are FHA/VA
35% of all homes are owned free and clear
Currently, 2% ofall loans are in foreclosure.
